Leonard Lu, MD, is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He has demonstrated a commitment to excellence throughout his education, training, and career. He was one of only eighty students selected nationally to attend an eight-year combined undergraduate/medical school program at Brown University in Providence, RI.
Dr. Lu subsequently graduated from the Brown-Dartmouth Program in Medicine at the top of his class, earning the Dean’s Award for the most outstanding graduating medical student. Patients appreciate his extensive experience in all aspects of Plastic Surgery, such as varicose vein treatment, and hair transplantation. He has traveled around the country to train with several nationally-recognized authorities in Plastic Surgery, with whom he learned specialized and innovative techniques.
After completing his research fellowships at Harvard Medical School, Washington University, and Northwestern University, Dr. Lu published multiple articles in the peer-reviewed journal, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is also an active member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
