On average, each CoolSculpting™ procedures results in at least a 20% reduction of fat in the treated area. After the initial treatment, you can repeat the procedure for optimal results and fat loss. You and a board-certified Ritacca Laser & Cosmetic Surgery Center plastic surgeon will assess you needs and expectations during a one-on-one consultation.
What happens during a procedure?
You and a provider at Ritacca Laser & Cosmetic Surgery Center plastic surgeon will select areas of the body that will be treated. The Zeltiq or CoolSculpting™ device will be carefully positioned on the body. The bulge will be suctioned into the device in between the two cooling panels. You will feel a firm pull into the device.
Can I return to normal activities following my procedure?
Yes! The Zeltiq or CoolSculpting™ is completely non-invasive and is intended for patients who cannot have any downtime or do not prefer needles, incisions or stitiches. CoolSculpting™ is so simple, it can be performed over your lunch hour!
When will I see results?
Some patients may notice results as soon as 3 weeks however, the most dramatic outcome will be seen 2 months post procedure. Your body will continue to flush out fat cells for up to 6 months.
Are the results permanent?
Yes! The treated fat cells will be eliminated. Our board-certified Ritacca Laser & Cosmetic Surgery Center plastic surgeons always suggest you follow a healthy diet and exercise regimen for long term results.

Thermage® Chicago
The Thermage procedure is an advanced way of tightening skin that uses a unique form of radiofrequency energy to allow the physician to tighten loose or sagging skin, producing a kind of "lift" without an incision or recovery time. It is the only non-invasive method to tighten loose skin.
